Lotta Adelstål
Lotta Adelstål is a facilitator and coach who partners with teams and organizations to unlock their potential. Drawing on neuroscience, emotional intelligence, group dynamics, self-leadership, and mindfulness expertise, Lotta creates transformative experiences that reclaim the lost art of connection and meaningful conversation.
Her journey with Liberating Structures (LS) began serendipitously in Ethiopia, and she has since introduced LS across East Africa and Southeast Asia, where she has lived and worked for many years. LS is more than a toolbox, it is also a leadership approach rooted in principles that foster individual and collective growth while delivering remarkable results. This is why LS, is Lotta’s go-to approach for gatherings of any size or purpose.
She uses LS to design and facilitate workshops, trainings, team collaborations, coaching, leadership retreats, and personal development programs. At universities, Lotta has introduced LS to help teachers and students tackle “wicked problems,” break down disciplinary silos, and foster collaborative learning.
Lotta’s global experiences have shaped her perspective and approach. Growing up in East Africa and working across continents—including Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Thailand—she has learned to navigate complexity, embrace diversity, and adapt to uncertainty, qualities she brings into her facilitation.
For the past 15 years, Lotta has led Pamodja, her company dedicated to unleashing human potential in individuals and groups. Previously, she worked with UNICEF and WHO, as well as public institutions and civil society organisations, gaining extensive experience in complex systems and organisational dynamics.
