Agile Hardware development, April 20-21 2017
Joe Justice, the President of Scrum Inc.’s Hardware Services and founder of Wikispeed, has developed the practice of using Scrum for full-scaling manufacturing. This is an Agile discipline that combines Scrum with modular architecture and Lean/XP practices. This framework enables those who work with hardware to enjoy the same benefits that agile software teams have enjoyed for decades.
This class goes beyond theory, giving you the chance to take what you learn and immediately put it to use. We combine basic Scrum principles with advanced agile practices to create an intense hands-on experience applying the theory to physical product development.
Upon completion you will:
- Understand Scrum for Hardware as the next evolutionary step in manufacturing
- Learn four Scrum for Hardware techniques to speed up lean practices
- Know the why behind the how of Scrum for Hardware
- Have been exposed to numerous real life examples
